Holly was the 3rd woman to have been married. Her first marriage was with actor Danny Quinn. In 1991 they married, and two years later divorced. Jim Carrey was her first encounter with Jim in 1994 during her audition to play Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. The actor did not offer her the role, however the two developed a relationship while working together during the filming in Dumb and Dumber. The couple married in 1996. Following a brief wedding, they split in 1997. The couple got married to Francis Greco who was born Canadian. After she got married to Greco and in 2008, she acquired Canadian citizenship. They divorced in 2014. Holly lives in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, with her three children. Holly, Grant and their respective families established the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as an "boy who was full of ideas, hopes and dreams". He was 14 years older when he died, but he traveled to Central America and Europe, had lived in New York City, and Los Angeles. His experiences led him to study architecture and archaeology.
Alaina Suddeth's parents are Kristy Suddeth from Rossville in Georgia and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina's father, who is a process engineer based in Tennessee started singing when she was three. After a vacation lasting a whole year, she sang in the children's choir. She sang in churches, restaurants, at family gatherings, and everywhere within 30 miles of her house. Alaina won the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest at age 8. She was chosen to sing on the Kids Talent stage of Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. Her performances on this stage continued to be enjoyed until the 12th birthday of her, when she became the winner of a contest that allowed her to perform on the big stage. She travelled to Orlando, Florida, when she was ten years old to compete with the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat 1,500 contestants to take the title. Alaina performed as a member of Georgia Country Gospel Association's Children's Group. Alaina first visited Nashville when she was 12 years old. The singer performed in Tootsie's and at other local bars on Broadway. Alaina was the 2009 winner of Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. Alaina was inspired to sing by her cousin, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with an brain tumor. Alaina previously worked for CiC's Pizza. She was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
