Holly is the third woman to have been married. When she first got wed was with Danny Quinn. They got became married in the year 1991. They separated two years later in 1993. Jim Carrey and she first began to meet in 1994 when they were doing auditions in the role of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The part was not given to her, however they developed a friendship while making Dumb and Dumber. The couple got married in 1996. The marriage lasted less than one year before they divorced in 1997 In 2001, she married Francis Greco, a Canadian-born financial banker.The couple adopted three sons, their names were Henry, George, and Alexander Holly-Greco. After she got married to Greco in 2007, she gained Canadian citizenship. The couple split up at the end of 2014. Holly and her children live at Oakville, Ontario. In 1992, Holly along with her father Grant and her family set up the A Fund at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in memory of her brother, Alexander who Holly stated, "He was a boy filled with dreams, hopes and ideas. Alexander was 14 when he lost his life. He had been traveling to Europe, Central America, New York City and Los Angeles. These trips ignited the interest for archaeology and architectural design in him.

Alaina Suddeth is daughter of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Her father works as an engineer for process in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to sing when she was three. Following a long vacation of a year and a year-long break from school, she joined the children's choir. She performed in churches, restaurants, at family gatherings, and everywhere within 30 miles of her house. Alaina, at the age of 8, took home at the age of 8 Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. Next year, she performed on the Kids' talent stage during Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. The festival allowed her to perform on the festival's main stage when she was 12, after having played there for the past few years. She travelled to Orlando, Florida, when she was 10 to participate with the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was a success by beating 1,500 other kids. Alaina sang in the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's youth chorus. At age 12, Alaina made her first of many trips to Nashville. She performed at Tootsie's and other local bars on Broadway. Alaina was the first winner of Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest in the year 2009. She wrote and performed several songs, including Leaving and Set Me Free, as well. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer, which inspired her to start singing. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee before joining Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
