Alaina Suddeth is child of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. The father of Alaina is a Chattanooga tech. Alaina began singing when she was just three years old. Her first performance before an audience was in a local children' choir. Her next public appearances included a celebration that featured karaoke. She sang at church at restaurants, in the midst of family holidays and anywhere she could within a 30- mile area. Alaina was 8 year old when she took home the Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. The following year Alaina won the competition to showcase talent for children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The festival allowed her to perform on the festival's main stage in the age of 12 after she had played there for the past few years. When she was 10 years old, she went to Orlando to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. She defeated more than 1,500 children in the contest to take home the crown. Alaina sang as part of Georgia Country Gospel association's Kids' Group. At age 12, Alaina made her first of numerous trips to Nashville. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar and several other bars along Broadway. Alaina was the winner in 2009 of Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer and encouraged her to begin singing. Alaina's first job was at CiC Pizza. She was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
